JAPPO launches Africa FootGoal​​: A new convention to contribute to the development of African football

Dakar, December 7st, 2020 – After having organized the Africa ​International Sports Convention (CISA) for ten years (2007 to 2016), JAPPO is initiating a new football convention called ​Africa Footgoal​.

The first edition of ​Africa Footgoal ​is scheduled for February 10-13, 2021. This edition will take place in the form of virtual conferences and workshops, because of the current covid 19 pandemic.

For the initiator of this new event, Mr. Diamil Faye, president of JAPPO: “The idea of ​the ​Africa FootGoal convention has matured since the last edition of CISA in 2016 in Alger and today, we are ready to materialize it.

Through ​Africa Footgoal convention, we aim to contribute to the development of football and its professionalization on the continent. For three (3) days, we will offer African and international to football leaders / experts a platform for exchanges and cooperation with themes​ relating to football challenges and opportunities both at continental and global level.”

During this convention, conferences and workshops are planned, led by renowned continental and world leading football experts on topics ranging from the organization of international competitions to the support provided to footballers. In addition, there will be a virtual exhibition that will see the participation of specialized sports firms as well as sporting goods companies and manufacturers who will use innovative solutions to showcase and publicize their products and services. Africa FootGoal will be the perfect time to launch Africa FootBook​, which is a directory that lists all the federations, leagues and players in african football.
