The first edition of AFRICA FOOT GOAL started this Wednesday February 10, 2021, with an opening ceremony which saw the participation of the chief of staff of the Senegalese sports minister, of the Liberian sports minister who delivered a speech on behalf of the President George WEAH, the President of the Mouhamed VI Foundation for Sport and the former Ivorian international Didier DROGBA.

FIRST DAY SUCCESSFUL WITH OVER 350 PARTICIPANTS

Around the themes of the day, renowned speakers such as the President of the Saudi Football Federation, the Vice-President of the Tanzanian Olympic Committee, Philippe Doucet, Gérard Akindés among others, gave the participants relevant exchanges under the moderations of journalists Evelyn WATTA and Aboubacry BA.

The initiator of the conference, FIFA expert Diamil FAYE, said he was satisfied with the course of this first day and promises an even better sequel with the six (06) other exciting themes that will be discussed until Saturday.

As a reminder, the former President of Olympique de Marseille, Pape DIOUF, is the godfather of this ceremony and a vibrant tribute will be paid to him during the closing ceremony, with among others a testimony from his friend Mamadou KOUME.
